
Diabetic patients are more likely to have problems with their feet than other people.
When you have diabetes, foot care is essential. Since the circulation in the feet is reduced, the nerves become sensitive menso and there is greater susceptibility to infection.
The problems begin with any minor trauma (abrasion, wound, crack, etc …). These wounds can become infected. The infected tissues become inflamed, requiring more blood, not being always available, as a result of poor circulation, and enhances the spread of infection.
Foot care for diabetic patient:

- Use a flexible shoe, comfortable and well adjusted. Ensures that the toe is wide to avoid chafing. If you use a new shoe, its use should be gradual to prevent rubbing.
- Do not walk barefoot or in sandals.
- Use Callico to remove corns and calluses, do not use scissors or instruments affiliates.
- Bringing the feet of stoves and heaters or applying hot water bottles.
- Do not use socks and stockings to compress too much.
